A shortlist pipeline and an issue template. The pipeline searches GitHub by topic, flags licence changes and install scripts with broad permissions, and measures star velocity week over week from its own history file, because GitHub no longer serves per-star timestamps. The template fixes the shape of every issue: five repos, each with one of three verdicts, Use, Skip or Watch, one sentence on what it does, two lines on who it is for and what it costs in setup time, and one flag of the week. Every verdict carries a reason.

The per-star timestamp endpoint returned 404 when checked on 30 August 2026, so star velocity is computed week over week from the pipeline’s own history file.
